Hyatt Regency Jersey City

I spent two nights at this hotel for business. The property could use a little updating, but it is very well maintained and the staff is excellent. The views of the NYC skyline are amazing and its right next to the subway, for quick access to Manhattan.

The layout of the hotel is a little confusing at first. When you walk in you take an escalator up to the lobby level which is actually the 3rd floor. A small detail, that prevents unnecessarily long elevator rides from lobby to guest room and back.

One small thing: the hotel gift shop, isn’t ‘connected’ to the hotel billing. Generally I like to charge snacks and food to my room so i don’t have to deal with receipts, so just know that you’ve got to pay for your treats in the gift shop (not a huge deal).
