Gators + Miami

So, I’m working on a story for y’all about my first time in Miami Beach.

But I want to put y’all on some game about this gator tour I went on at Everglades National Park or whatever its called.

So, If you don’t know this already I love doing touristy things in new cities. So after having done the Big Bus tour in Paris, I decided they’re a legit touring company.

They have a Big Bus Muskogee experience thing where they shuttle you down to the everglades (about 45 min from south beach) you get on a fan boat and they take you around the alligator filled water.

I was a little skeptical because I didn’t think I’d actually see any gators but Captain Mike was determined to find the female gator after we found her nest empty. Alligator in the florida evergladesooh girl! There she is! Im scared!

But she showed up for us!

She swam right up to the boat and under it and even thumped the bottom a little, and of course people screamed lol.

I highly recommend this tour though. Its about 5-6 hours door to door from your hotel so clear up your day. I went on the 2pm tour. I was picked up around 1:30 and returned around 6:30.

Lastly, one thing I was looking for on trip advisor was what to wear. My thinking is, “okay, I’m going on a boat, prepare to be watered”. But no, its a pretty dry trip, a little water made its way on to the boat floor but other than that, dry. I took a chance and wore gym shoes and regular clothes.

Things I wish i’d brought.

1. Sunblock

Things I’m happy I did bring

  • My super cool shades 😎
  • A towel cuz it was hot as ass and I was sweatin’
  • Some cash to tip the boat dude and bus driver

Have fun in the everglades y’all!!

Oh yeah the trip was 50$ I paid half at the Big Bus office and half when the dude picked me up 😁

ps. Alligators don’t eat people. They dont have the ability to digest salt, and we salty n shit.

K bye
