So you like to travel do you?

I never really thought of myself as the adventurous type. I grew up in a large suburb just 35 miles outside of Chicago. It’s amazing to me how sometimes we can live so close to something amazing and never really fully experience it. Travel has opened my eyes not only to the wonders of the world but to the wonders of the local, the hometown.

My perspective:

So I’m a black woman, masculine of center, gay, non-gender conforming, and a whole bunch of other parts of the alphabet soup. I am frequently taken as male, and either hilarity or awkwardness usually comes after that. More about that on my About page that you can see here.
